Notes from the Japanese reissue say Recorded December 1961, Paris, Blue Note, Bass - Bob Whitlock. Alun Morgan's notes say it was recorded on the set in a Paris film studio at an unconfirmed date and the bass player is unknown but suspected to be Pierre Michelot or Jean-Marie Ingrande.
