There are at least three U.S. Everest label versions of this title, one on the gold Everest label; a second on the bright orange Everest label; and a third on the blue-and-orange Everest label (with the yellow mountain peak). The manufacturing reference here to "Transatlantic Records Ltd." does not appear on (U.S.) Everest pressings of this release. "Septet For Strings" and "Aspen-Serenade" have been reissued in 1991 on CD in [r=29386915]. Aspen Serenade, for chamber ensemble, was composed in 1957 (first performed on 19 August). Suite de quatrains was composed in 1962. Septet for Strings was composed in 1964.
