Carnival features whimsical verses composed by humorist Ogden Nash. These are usually used only in US recordings. This issue was one of the last before RCA went to the Dynagroove process considered by most audiophiles to be highly inferior in sound quality. James Mitchell in his Golden Era of RCA booklet gave this a 10+ rating.
