1959 UK studio recording of the songs used in the 1949 film version of "On The Town" which was based on Leonard Bernstein's 1944 Broadway musical. Most of Bernstein's score was replaced by inferior songs by Roger Edens. Track A3 "Come Up To My Place" is from Bernstein's score but is incorrectly attributed to Edens on sleeve & label. Track B5 "Closing" is also attributed to Edens but it includes reprises of Bernstein's "I Feel Like I'm Not Out Of Bed Yet" & "New York New York" as well as a reprise of Edens' "On The Town"
