On this occasion, a correction has been made to CD 11, track 5: in the second movement of Piano Sonata D 845, bar 114 (and repeat), a wrongly printed and recorded “F” in the left hand has been edited and replaced by a “G”. Additionally, at the express wish of the artist, slight modifications in tempo – in comparison with the 1970/71 LP pressings – have been made to CD 7, tracks 6/7, as well as to CD 10, tracks 2/6/7/8. Finally, since only the third movement of Mr. Badura-Skoda’s 1967 recording of Piano Sonata D 959 was replaced by his 1971 re-recording when re-issued in set VICS-6128, identical edits have now been made to both CD 8, tracks 5/6/8, and CD 10, tracks 1/2/4.
