Although this release is labeled as the "Original Soundtrack," that is an error on MCA's part. This recording was a re-recording of Ernest Gold's score, the true original soundtrack of which was released by RCA. This MCA reissue should have been labeled, as was the original 1960 United Artists Records release, "Music From Otto Preminger's Motion Picture."
