The edition is the result of a collaboration with the sculptor Sofia Beça who designed and produced a limited edition of 30 ceramic pieces.
Abstract Thoughts II reveals the musician Jorge Queijo at the piano, improvisations recorded in Abu Dhabi at the NYUAB studios.
All ceramic pieces contain fragments of sand from the Rub al Khali desert also known as Empty Quarter.
