6 p. folder in English. The third record (sides E&F) shows different center labels (see scan). The liner notes are dated: "July, 1958". Mono recording, despite the stereo stickers on the box (XAX matrices, and the labels have "mono"). The earlier 'strobe' label with "World Sound" (i.e., mono) indicates that this is a reissue (a look at copies on ebay shows versions with more than one strobe label), with the newer label design not used consistently. It was not issued in stereo - the last mono-only opera, as per the WRC UK "1969-70 Comprehensive Catalogue". The old labels have "Hawkes & Sons", while the new design has "Hawkes & Son" and the EMI logo. "OC 230/1/2" on libretto cover, "SOC. 230" on old strobe side 1 label, "SOC 232" on new orange Side 6 label.
