Concerto for Violin and Orchestra, "Auld Swaara" was commissioned by the Koussevitsky Music Foundation for Michelle Makarski and the Albany Symphony Orchestra.
Symphony No. 2 was commissioned for the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra with the assistance of a Composer-in-Residence Grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
CD is packaged in a standard plastic black-tray jewel case along with an 8 page booklet, notes in English.
