The disc collects the [r=1401571] LP (tracks 1 to 9, released in 1979) and Tenor In Roots (tracks 12 to 20, released 1977 as a white label pressing only). Also included here: track 10 is a b-side version from a [a=Patrick Andy] [url=http://www.discogs.com/Patrick-Andy-Ranking-Barnabas-Woman-Woman-Woman/release/2158154]12"[/url], and a Bunny Lee-produced 12" cut ("[url=http://www.discogs.com/Tommy-McCook-Riding-West/master/629796]Riding West[/url]", track 11). Track 1 is expanded from the original LP version with the second/extended portion pulled from a 1979 7" 45 release b-side, where it was titled "[url=http://www.discogs.com/Tommy-McCook-Bobby-Ellis-Blazing-No-Water/release/4571987]No Water[/url]." The original Blazing Horns LP and the two 12"s mentioned above were all released on the Grove Music label.
