An alternative version of the air "O Ruddier Than The Cherry" is appended to the end of Side Four, with the obbligato part played on a flauto (treble recorder) as per Mr. Handel's original score. In the main recording, it is played on a flauto piccolo ottavo (sopranino recorder), as it has been traditionally, from at least the early 19th century.
