Cover Painting: Charles-Francois Daubgny [sic], Sluice in the Optevoz Valley, 1854 from the collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. All the works on this recording were commissioned for the New York Choral Society and premiered by the Choral Society at Carnegie Hall, New York. Special thanks to Mary Lee Duff, Dr. Martin L.
