From the liner notes:
"In 1998 Danish saxofonplayer Jesper Thilo celebrated his 40th anniversary as a musician. (...) The actual celebration of the anniversary took place in May as part of the jazz festival called "Swinging Copenhagen". Jesper Thilo was requested to invite an American drummer as a special guest at this special occasion. His choice was the drummer Jake Hanna. Besides the festival group played a session a few days later in "Copenhagen Jazzhouse". This session was recorded and now issued with this present CD. (...) Henning Schädler. January 1999.
Recorded June 3, 1998 in Copenhagen Jazz House, Copenhagen.
