Career Prospects

"prospect no.1" working title was "monsters at work". this track was recorded between 2011 and 2013 mainly using a working office equipment and its machines. it was mastered in 2013 for an unreleased split w/ +DOG+. a new master was done in 2018 exclusively for this release. "prospect no.2" working title was "career prospects". this title was finally given to the release. it was recorded between 2014 and 2018 in various locations and mastered in 2018. "prospect no.3" original idea started out in 2014. during the period 2014-2016 some field recordings of the city, working environment and the sea were made. they were put in storage and only came out in early 2017 for a first mix. the result was kept until early 2018 when effects and extra sounds were added. the whole thing was mixed down on october 2018. for the purpose of these recordings were used sounds of or sounds created by: fax machines, keyboards, printers, telephones, claps, cymbals, electronics, tram, electricity, voices, noises, effects, synth, percussion, tapes, loops, beats, choir, bells, african metallophone and various field recordings. the recordings were mainly done with mobile phones. FL Studio 20 was additionally used. the results were processed/edited/mixed/mastered with Audacity. on the cover artwork there is a Manos Michaelides photo taken in 2016 in Athens, Greece. facebook.com/ManosMichaelidesPhotography
