UK re-release got air-play and became a smash hit. Note that the stereo mix is not quite stereo but binaural. The Vocals are on one side the Lee Perry & Co backing + hiss is on the other. Millie Jackson had an earlier hit with it in 1973, after herself covering the original version by Katie Love and the Four Shades of Black.
