CDr with color-printed sticker From the back cover: One week before the law that made LSD illegal in California was to take effect, Kesey snuck back from his hide-out in Mexico to attend the Sanfrancisco State College Acid Test. Word on the street was Kesey had made a deal. He didn't! The set-up was with Kesey off in a different hidden room secretly miked and wired so people could hear him and he could hear them and interact with the crowd in the auditorium. This didn't happen until around 4am. All of this was being broadcast by the local radio station who also recorded it. Ed Perlstein saved the master tape from the dumpster during a cleaning so we are able to present this to you. Ken Kesey on vocals and guitar. Dale Kesey on violin.
