Recorded July 10-20, 1962 at RCA Italiana Studios, Rome. This was the first complete opera to be recorded in the then-new studios in Rome. Originally released in 1963.
Comes in 2-CD standard-width super jewel case with swivel tray. "Newly Remastered Hybrid Super Audio CD" sticker on shrink wrap. Booklet contains SACD information insert (3.5 x 3.5 inches). SACD layer is 3.0 channels.
"FBI Anti-Piracy Warning" on back cover and disc faces.
The last block in the matrix codes ("A00" in all cases) are stamped, and are mirror-imaged on the inner rings.
