This compilation ℗ & © 2016 Parlophone Records Limited, a Warner Music Group Company Incidental information: This set is a combination of two previously issued boxes: the HMV/EMI recordings on [r=6305780] and the Teldec recordings on [r=10506935]. Even though these sets added up to 17 CDs, there are no new Richter recordings in this release. Two new CDs of [a837577] playing Händel Keyboard Suites in the 1979 all-Händel concert was a joint effort of the two pianists, who shared the Suites between them (CDs 17–20). CDs 1–3 are Richter's first LPs for EMI, recorded 1961–63 (studio recordings, except for a live 1962 Schumann recital on CD 2). CDs 4–21 were recorded by EMI between 1969 and 1980 (studio recordings, except live recordings of the Händel Suites, the Mozart Violin Sonatas with Oleg Kagan, and the Berg Chamber Concerto). The Teldec collection on CDs 22–24 features live recordings, except for the Mozart / Grieg (CD 22) and the Schubert String Quartet (CD 24). The card jackets reproduce the front sleeve artwork and the timings of the original LPs. All CDs use the same remasterings as the previous sets. CD 16 (Mozart with Muti) claims a 2015 remastering, but that refers to the Mozart Symphony No.24 only (first time on CD). 24 CDs in card sleeves and 24 pp. booklet housed in a sturdy slip-cased cardboard box
