This recording was made at 30 ips on modified Studer A-80 tape machine. Signal sources were two Cambridge C-35 ribbon microphones, constructed by Charles Fisher of Framingham, Massachusetts. A special record/playback curve was used, eliminating the need for external noise reduction devices.
