Patreon Exclusive Mixtape... Here's a bunch of vocal and instrumental demos from 2012-2015 presented as a mixtape. I had this concept of a half instrumental/vocal project called YTX, it would fulfill the experimental rap promise of the mansbestfriend series but allow me a space to do more cool instrumental/beat stuff and be able to perform a different kind of music... The project never realized itself... Instead, I formed a sort of instrumental/electronic band with my wife called WHITENOISE, started making shit with Pain1, and kept doing mansbestfriend shit. Been going through old demos on an iMac I had in storage and was stunned by how cool a lot of this stuff was, so I've taken the best of it and compiled it into the YTX Mixtape. Hope you enjoy. Fun Fact: A lot of these beats begin on trains in Europe, just staring out the window on solo tours beginning beats then bringing them back home to flesh out and produce. It's a fun way of making music that I've been going back to lately.
