The aim was to create 500 copies of the boxed set with the possibility of another 500 if enough funds were raised. After the Kickstarter ended it was announced that another 500 copies were to be made. This total of 1000 copies included both the gold and black variants of the set. Important Records stated that 206 gold copies were made; 176 were for the Kickstarter backers and the remaining 30 were sold by Important Records and Third Man Records. The release comes with an 80 page book of essays and photos. This release appears to be identical to [r21258325] except for the vinyl color and also that this edition does not have a hype sticker on the shrink wrap. The booklet lists track C as Space Adventure but the LP label and jacket list it as Space Voyage. Track R is listed as Vulcan’s Play on the LP label and in the booklet but the jacket lists it as Vulcans Play.
