The Grid in Motion/Illuminate

Sponsored by General Electric, this very limited vinyl release features music written for a dance/film piece that was meant to illustrate how energy tapped from various sources moves through the electric grid. GE teamed up with electronic music artist Gryffin for this project, as well as choreographer Cynthia Geffon. Dancers included Mackenzie Ziegler from Dance Moms and Jim Nowakowski from So You Think You Can Dance. The accompanying film was produced by Urban Sled, and was released 6 June, 2017. The song "Illuminate" is subtitled "A song inspired by the energy and machines that connect our world."
