Jackson's recorded pre-show banter suggests that this recording may have been intended for eventual commercial release. Some technical problems with the recording, possibly caused by a poorly-grounded mic cable, corrupted tracks 3, 4, 5, and 9. Although the mix presents a good balance between the instruments, the frequency range doesn't extend past 5000Hz.
Writing on the backside of the outer box suggests that the tape had been used for an unidentified 15 i.p.s. session seven months prior.
