INTRODUCTION Few people outside of Germany have heard the story of "The Horse": a 50 foot (15 meter) wooden "Trojan" horse that will tour small villages all over Europe on a three year journey into the next century, powered the whole time by people! Internally equipped with a sound system and a logistic control center, the Horse will be built and unveiled July 1998 at Love Parade in Berlin. Indeed an ambitious and perhaps arduous project. The Horse's name will soon be echoed throughout the world as THE sign of our times: the closing of the millennium. Marshall Jefferson has gladly dedicated this all-new recording to the project of the Horse, exclusively recorded during one of his many stays in Berlin: The Horse's homebase. Side A's "The Horse Comes" is a 130 bpm hands-in-the-air, techno-house anthem filled with positive energy and a truly spiritual groove for all crowds into a vibe. Side B's "The Cow is Waiting" is a 120 bpm late night house groove with spacey keys and a feel-good atmosphere: the unmistakable trademark of the Godfather of House music, Marshall Jefferson.
