Alfred Harth in 1964 had opened the club H in Frankfurt/Main as a meeting point and mainly platform for live concerts. In the beginning his band Interton-Combo performed mostly written entertainment arrangements while he was playing the clarinet only.
In 1965 Harth arranged some changes in music styles and personals by forming a New Orleans Band (and guests).
September 1965 Harth had his first tenor sax, and he arranged some changes in music styles and personals by forming the Alfred-Harth-Jazztett.
