A departure from the bands previous material, "The Rise And Fall" is a Rock Opera first performed live in its entirety in January 1998, alongside the Solar Flare Light Show, and filmed for a local TV broadcast. It was recorded in between out-of-town concerts throughout 1997, and is the bands first material to have 3 members sharing lead vocal duties, switching between them throughout the course of the album/story.
