Jouez Ma Pipe

Acryl on record and pipe. 32 x 32 x 6 cm. Edition of 25 signed copies. Beautiful in its simplicity, this work consists of a vinyl record with a pipe affixed to it (a nod to Magritte, no doubt) painted with green acrylic paint and housed in a cardboard box. The work dates back to 1986 (and was featured in Ursula Block’s influential exhibition and catalogue Broken Music). The edition followed five years later.
