Diakarlo 83

Released in 1983 by Boubacar Diagne, a Senegalese producer based in Brussels , Diakarlo 83, an underrated and little known album that has on side A, three titles of Youssou N'Dour and the Super Etoile de Dakar from the early 1980s ( "Independence" - 1981, "Bandjoly Ndiaye" - 1982 and " Mouye Ma" - 1982) and on side B , three titles composed in 1982 from El Hadji Faye’s band, Etoile 2000 (" Boubou Ngary ", Niety Noon and Yama Saf) ... Diakarlo 83, is also the reunion on a same disc but different sides of two former founding members of the Etoile of Dakar whose splitting gave birth to Youssou N'Dour’s band Super Etoile de Dakar and El Hadj Faye’s Etoile 2000.
