The vinyl appears to be standard black but is actually pressed on dark brown translucent vinyl, sometimes referred to as "audiophile" or "virgin” vinyl, possibly unstickered Quiex II pressing, which A&M often used in the 1980s.
In the runout, the "&" is a backwards "3" with a vertical line through it. The signature is as best as can deciphered.
