Recorded in New Orleans on Royal Street. Textured jacket with no information on the front cover, just a gold strip. The gold strip continues onto the back cover. On the back cover, text on the gold strip reads: MOANS AND BLUES Lizzie Miles shouts the blues Tony Almerico orch., Red Camp, piano 1182 The record itself is pressed on very dark maroon-coloured translucent vinyl. The record appears black until held up to a light. Unsure if this is the same “amber translucent” colour of other pressings, but I would say the colour is much closer to maroon.
