"Nazaré" is by Mestre Barachinha, a song Paal heard in Nazaré da Mata when Bernardo Oliveira, Mariana Mansur and Bethania Brandao took him to experience the deep Nordeste of Brazil. The sound of bamboo trees during bass solo and after “Song for Joe” was recorded outside the museum of Francisco Brennand in Recife, Brazil.
