"Nature's Breath" composed Fall 1984 for chamber ensemble. Commissioned by the Serge Koussevitzky Foundation of the Library of Congress, and was premiered by the [a=Ensemble InterContemporain] at Paris' Theatre du Rond Point in March 1985. Recorded October 9, 1985 at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, New York.
"Spectres Parisiens" composed January to April 1984 for chamber orchestra and computer sounds. Commissioned by the French Culture Ministry. Premiered by the [a=Ensemble L'Itinéraire] at the Centre Georges Pompidou in May 1984. Recorded December 16 and 17, 1984 in live performance at Paradiso, Amsterdam.
