This release includes the outstanding album "Nothing But The Blues" (Verve MGV8252), reuniting the recently deceased guitarist Herb Ellis with Stan Getz and Roy Eldridge. As a bonus, we have added "Herb Ellis Meets Jimmy Giufre" (Verve MGVS6045), on which Giufre plays tenor and baritone sax, and is also the arranger on the whole album.
