Australian WRC pressing, sourced from original stampers and featuring unique sleeve art. Title credits as on the box spine. Red box with gold embossment on front, LPs separated by cardboard dividers inside, colourful collage of generic opera characters lining the inside of box. Issued with 40-page booklet, featuring cast, synopsis, introduction and Italian libretto with line-by-line English translation (pages 2 and 39 are blank). Not issued in stereo. This seems to be the only occasion WRC issued this recording of opera in Australia (the libretto artwork, which graced the cover of August 1963 WRC News, was re-used in 1976 for [url=https://www.discogs.com/release/8527441]R-02968[/url] - a different recording of the associated ballet).
