Saskia 's fifth release, presenting a melange of Funk, Dance, and Jazz using instrumental themes, vocals, rap, beatbox, and improvisation over hip grooves. Really Jazzy features Saskia Laroo playing trumpet, saxophone, upright bass & vocals. Whenever I look at her website I am amazed at how she manages to do so many performances at venues all over the world. Yet again, I'm not amazed because I've known Miss Laroo for years as a hardworking, fantastic musician who not only as a trumpet player towers aloft but also as a bandleader and colleague stands alone. She's always willing to give young musicians a chance and have smashing jam sessions with other musicians no matter what the setting. Respect Saskia! Alhoewel, verbazen doe ik me eigenlijk niet want Miss Laroo ken ik al jaren als een hardwerkende fantastische muzikante die niet alleen als trompettiste op eenzame hoogte staat maar ook als bandleider en kollega muzikant een unieke plaats in neemt.
