This compilation does not contain bonus tracks from subsequent LP or CD releases. The "Night at Birdland" series presented here are the two 12-inch LP's released in 1956 (Volumes 1 and 2) that collect the original 10-inch LP Volumes 1, 2, and 3, and a Japanese LP release from 1984 with additional material from the original 1954 sessions. Liner notes show that Disc 4 comprises the Jazz Messenger LP's "Ritual" and "Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers" (aka "Moanin'"), but this is incorrect. The' music from those two releases appear on Part Two of this series. Disc 4 of Part One is actually Volumes 1 and 2 of "Orgy in Rhythm".
